Volunteering England is engaged in a number of projects which involve the voluntary, public and private sectors.
- In partnership with YouthNet, we are delivering the Inspiration and Legacy from the 2012 Games Project, aimed at increasing the number of quality 2012 Games inspired volunteering opportunities in the fields of sport, environment, and the arts / culture.
- Volunteering England provides the secretariat for the England Volunteering Development Council- the high-level representative and advocacy mechanism for volunteering
- We carry out a range of acitivites to support and recognise the role of volunteers in the NHS
- Our web site provides detailed information for organisations, small or large, who are considering employer supported volunteering
- With the support of Sport England we are working to help develop the infrastructure for volunteering in sport at national, regional and local levels
- Our work on Volunteering and Risk aims to address issues to do with risk and insurance in the volunteering sector and to provide straightforward advise to orgnanisations dealing with these issues
